October 4, 2007 NPOG Awards Announced
Coach Kelly and Coach Oberecker announced this weeks Nachos Player of the Game awards. This NPOG recipients this week for the flags Blue team are:
NPOG Offense: Jake
NPOG Defense: Juan
Coach Kelly applauded Jake's efforts on the line. Jake really shined in a performance where we, as a team, were overmatched much of the game. Jake should be commended for his determination and heart.
Coach Kelly also tipped his hat to Juan. "It just seemed like every time we turned around, Juan had another flag" exclaimed Kelly. He had a super game on the defensive side.
The NPOG recipients this week for the flags White team are:
NPOG Offense: Brendan
NPOG Defense: Daniel
Coach Oberecker was quick to point out that Daniel played tough the entire game from the safety position. Daniel bounced back from a first half injury and came up with a game saving tackle! Way to go Daniel.
Coach Oberecker was extra honored this week to announce that Brendan was selected as the offensive NPOG. Brendan's blocking has really reached a new level. The team continually ran to Brendan's side of the ball as he opened one running lane after another.
Congratulations to Jake, Juan, Brendan, and Daniel. Enjoy the nachos!
